An honorable task
I am very pleased that the 3rd edition, volume 4 of the “Münchener Kommentar” on the German Insurance Contract Act (VVG) has now been published. Together with my former ERGO office manager, Dr. Sebastian Meerschiff, I was able to make a contribution to this renowned standard work. Our chapter deals with the topic of “Autonomous driving and insurance.” A complex topic, but with the good news that the legal regulations in Germany also ensure comprehensive victim protection in the event of accidents involving autonomous vehicles. I would like to thank Sebastian for the excellent cooperation as always and the two “great lawyers” and editors Prof. Dr. Theo Langheid and Prof. Dr. Manfred Wandt for the honorable task of being allowed to work on this work as a non-lawyer.
