German car insurers have major problems, and not just because of the current technical losses. One of the main problems is that insurers are not familiar enough with the automotive industry, which is having an ever greater influence on mobility due to technological developments, says Karsten Crede, former board member at Allianz and ERGO Group AG and founder of the consulting firm Crede & Company, in an interview (in German).
